National Machinery LLC of Tiffin, Ohio USA and Mectron Engineering Co. of Saline, Michigan USA, as of March 2004 have established a sales and service relationship for Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America. The National Machinery offices in these regions are now the exclusive sales agents for the Mectron line of inspection systems.
Mark Hanna, CEO of Mectron said, "We are excited to have the substantial resources of National Machinery to support our lines worldwide. We view this partnership of two world-leading equipment manufacturers as another strong step towards the future."

May 2003 We are pleased to announce that we have established a partnership with Nakashimada Engineering Works, ltd. of Japan. We are now their exclusive sales agent and the European center for the sales, parts and service for the Nakashimada product line in Europe. Kevin Beirne of National Machinery has been appointed the Nakashimada Product Manager for Europe, assisted by our European sales team. Hideaki Takao, Chief Technical Support Engineer of Nakashimada will work as a service technician from our offices in Nuernberg.
In a letter to their customers, Nakashimada announced:
Nakashimada is delighted to have the substantial sales and service resources of National Machinery for our products in Europe. And the assistance of National Machinery as the global leader in cold forming machinery will help ensure that our customers in Europe receive world class service and support.
We feel that this is another step in expanding our presence in the cold forming industry worldwide. Nakashimada has products that we do not produce. The strength of our existing network of sales staff with the ability to speak various languages as necessary in Europe allows us to present a broader product line as solutions to customers' cold forming needs.
