QuickCalc Plus

The QUIKCALC Plus software simplifies the customary cold forming calculations. Calculations required for forming load, energy, press-fit, volume and conversions are performed with this easy-to-use program. The calculations can be stored, retrieved, edited, and printed. QUIKCALC Plus is a menu-based program that automates many cold forming engineering calculations. Those calculations include:

• Forward and Backward Extrusion Load and Energy
• Open Upset Load and Energy
• Square-Up and Enclosed Upset Load and Energy
• Hooker Extrusion Load and Energy
• Trim Load
• Interference-Fit for 2 and 3 Ring Insert Assemblies
• Volume Calculations
• Utility Calculations (Cone dimensions, die slide, etc.)
• Conversions

The system requirements are any IBM-compatible PC running Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT. The program also requires the use of a hardware key installed on the computer's parallel printer port.
