Process Development Today:
National Machinery has been awarded one process patent in 2008 and have six new process patents pending. Our most recent patent, a method for cold forming near net shape metal roller blanks for anti-friction bearings, is a good example of a significant manufacturing improvement over a pre-existing method. The new patent yields a more complete, and stronger part, while also being more cost effective.
Other technology developments include the High Pressure Lever Technology for segmented insert applications and Blank Rotator Technology for forming in the horizontal plane.
