An intensive course for design engineers and others who want to learn the basics of cold forming and design criteria. Subjects range from upsetting and extrusions, to tolerances and materials.
A hands-on seminar for experienced tool designers. The course teaches techniques by utilizing our own patented QUIKCALC ePlus software. Subjects range from die design principles, load and energy calculations, to die construction.
The FORMAX® Workshop focuses on practical training for mechanical and electrical maintenance personnel, providing tips and techniques on troubleshooting and servicing your FORMAX®, FORMAX® PLUS, FORMAX® 2000, PumaFX, and LeanFX progressive headers to achieve top operating efficiency. Attendees will learn through combined classroom and hands-on instruction using special fixtures created specifically for training. Each fixture is a key mechanism from the machine mounted in a way to give easy access and visibility for trainer and trainees. This workshop is an ideal refresher on up-to-date FORMAX® maintenance techniques, and is an excellent program to get newer employees oriented to effective practices. Each participant receives a FORMAX maintenance and troubleshooting guide, plus material presented in the lectures.
